Brittany Henderson

My name is Brittany Henderson and I hail from the great state of Virginia and the city of Hampton. I am a rising sophomore at Spelman College majoring in Economics, where I am a member of PEP-ers (peer educators), Event Envoys, and the Spelman Investment Club. After graduation, I plan to work on Wall Street as an analyst in corporate finance. Volunteering and giving back to the community are things that I feel passionate about. I feel as if I am obligated to give back to the community, especially the African-American community, because they have given me so much and have helped me to elevate. I volunteer with HOTGIRLS because it gives me the opportunity to serve as a mentor to young girls and help them with whatever issues, however minor, they may face. Seeing my mentees achieve and excel have been two of the most important and exciting events in my life.
