Danielle Franklin

Hello. My name is Danielle Franklin and I am a sophomore English major/Spanish minor at Spelman College from Los Angeles, California. After graduation, I will enjoy a successful career as a broadcast journalist reporting on entertainment news. I enjoy being with family and friends, reading, shopping, sleeping, and most of all working to eradicate or lessen some of the issues plaguing young African American women today. And that is why I am so thrilled to be a part of HOTGIRLS! I am a firm believer that it is the duty of privileged young women like myself to reach out to help our sisters who have not had the same guidance and support as we have had. Through HOTGIRLS and my own future non-profit organization, I plan to continue in this struggle against STDs, low self-esteem, and self-hatred for as long as these problems exist….P.S. I have an eight-year-old sister named Ryan who is my motivation for success.
